Watch Battery Cross Reference & Equivalent Finder
Read the code on your battery, find its documented equivalents, and compare a replacement without confusing a similar size with a matching specification.
Find the code. Compare the specification.
Start with the battery marking or the exact watch manual. A watch model or a photo is not a battery code.
Enter a code to see documented equivalents and specifications. Lookup runs in your browser; typed codes are not included in tool-use analytics.

A selected reference, not a complete battery database. W and SW are kept separate. The listed cross-reference specifications do not verify a particular watch or a current multi-drain product.

Start with the full battery marking
Enter a code such as 377, SR626SW, V377 or Seiko SB-AW. The finder matches only documented codes in its selected reference. Spaces and hyphens are accepted; unknown codes, watch model names and combined multi-drain labels are not converted into guessed replacements.
If the marking is unreadable or the installed battery may be wrong, use the exact watch manual or ask a watchmaker to identify the required cell. This finder does not determine a battery from a photograph or from the watch brand alone.
Check chemistry, voltage and drain together
Maxell distinguishes low-drain SW silver-oxide cells from high-drain W cells. A family marking such as SR626 or SR66 does not resolve that distinction. The finder shows supported variants and asks for the complete specification.
An alkaline LR44 and a silver-oxide SR44W share the chart's listed dimensions but differ in chemistry and nominal voltage. They are kept separate. A manufacturer may sell a current multi-drain product under a combined label; use that exact product's data sheet rather than assuming that all similar codes are interchangeable.
Coin-cell height matters too
CR2016, CR2025 and CR2032 have the same listed diameter but different heights. Maxell warns that CR2025 and CR2032 are not interchangeable: a cell that appears to fit can still make poor contact. Match the complete code specified by the watch.
Keep loose cells away from children and pets. These are primary battery references, not rechargeable-cell recommendations. For a sealed or water-resistant watch, have the replacement and sealing condition checked by a qualified service provider.
What the reference covers
The first version covers 26 selected silver-oxide, alkaline and lithium coin-cell profiles. The cross-reference facts come from Maxell's October 2017 chart, which remained linked from its manufacturer product page when checked on October 20, 2026. This is not a claim that every historical brand code is currently sold.
Dimensions are nominal reference values, not measurements of your cell. Current manufacturer data sheets and the watch manual take precedence. A matching chart row does not check terminals, polarity, modified movements or the condition of the watch.

Frequently Asked Questions
What battery is equivalent to 377?
In the cited Maxell chart, 377 corresponds to SR626SW, a low-drain silver-oxide profile at 1.55 V and 6.8 × 2.6 mm. Listed codes include V377, D377 and SB-AW. Check the current replacement data sheet and the watch manual before fitting.
Are 376 and 377 the same watch battery?
The chart lists the same dimensions and voltage, but 376 maps to high-drain SR626W while 377 maps to low-drain SR626SW. The finder reports a drain difference. A specific modern multi-drain replacement needs its own manufacturer documentation.
Can I replace SR44 with LR44 or AG13?
Do not choose a replacement by size alone. The cited chart lists LR44 and AG13 as alkaline, whereas SR44 watch variants are silver oxide. Chemistry, nominal voltage and the required drain specification must be checked against the watch manual.
Does a matching code guarantee the battery will fit my watch?
No. It establishes a documented cross-reference within this selected chart. Confirm the exact cell required by the watch and the replacement's current specifications, including terminals and polarity. The tool cannot inspect the movement or case.
Why is my code unknown or ambiguous?
The selected catalog does not cover every battery or current multi-drain product. Family codes may omit the W/SW drain suffix. Recheck the full marking and use the manufacturer's product data sheet; the finder does not infer a missing specification.
Are my battery codes uploaded?
The lookup and comparison run in your browser. Entered codes are not sent with the tool's engagement events. Those events record actions such as starting, completing or resetting the tool.
